Filmography Donal Mac Inyre has been a network reporter for 15 years working mostly for the BBC1 and BBC2 but with stints at ITV and Five in the UK. His reports have also been broadcast on Sky and BBC News. His work has been broadcast in over 75 countries. 1993 - On-The-Line (BBC2): Reporter on two sports exposes in this award winning investigative sports series. His exposes on doping in horse racing and abuse in greyhound racing won him international attention. MacIntyre won awards in the US and Ireland for his work. 1994 - BBC Documentaries `Taking Liberties` - Mac Intyre joined the award winning strand fighting for the rights of marginalised in society. World In Action (ITV): Two Royal Television Society awards came his way when he joined this remarkable strand. During his stint here he worked undercover on seven programmes. Variously he lived in a crack house for three months, exposed pensions scams, funeral parlours and lived undercover as a doorman in Nottingham for a year. The book of the series `One Man Four Lives` sold over 40,000 copies. This was nominated for a Royal Television Society Award 11th June 2001 - The Oklahoma Bomber MacIntyre reported and investigation into the life of Timothy McVey. This was nominated for a BAFTA. April/May 2002 - MacIntyre Investigates (BBC): - 25th April 2002 Street Crimes London - 2nd May 2002 Drugs (yaba/methamphetamine) - Burma/Thailand - 9th May 2002 The Trade in Sex Slaves - London Foundling - one Man's Story - Northern Ireland / Australia The Life of SIr Peter Blake R.I.P. - The Amazon The Trade in Rare Mountain Gorrilas - Rwanda Violent Children - An investigation - UK September 2002 - Wild Weather (BBC) A four part adventure series around the world investigating the environmental impact of our changing weather. As presenter MacIntyre spent two years travelling for this £3 million series. This was nominated for a BAFTA. For the BBC and The Learning Channel MacIntyre's Million (Five): An Intenational Undercover series exposing the trade in body parts in India, in endangered animals across the globe and the trade in arms in Eastern Europe - 3rd December 2003 - Body Butchers - UK, India. - 10th December 2003 - Noah's Ark - India, South Africa, Malaysia - 17th December 2003 - Semtex for Sale - Kosovo, Montenegro, Italy, Paris. For Five and Discovery Times 2004 - A two part undercover expose on care homes for the elderly and the learning disabled. FIVE Feb 2004 - Misuse of a Miracle - narrated By Donal (This film is an outcome of the project: The battle against antibiotic resistent bacteria that was funded in 2002 by the European Commission, under the Community action on the prevention of AIDS and certain other communicable diseases. In addition he did an expose on corrupt prison officers.
