A shocking new documentary claims that a London police officer illegally paid for an overseas kidney transplant.
Investigative journalist Donal MacIntyre, famous for his daring undercover exposes, will make the claim during Body Butchers, part one of his new series, MacIntyre's Millions. MacIntyre alleges: "He's got a kidney which was bought and paid for overseas, which is illegal. "Apparently he had already had a failed kidney transplant in this country. "Then he went overseas and paid for another one, which was successful. The problem is of course that you're not allowed to do that," claims the reporter. The show, Body Butchers, looking at the illegal trade in human body parts in India, South America and other countries of the Third World, airs Wednesday at 9pm on five.
