2 BBC headline programmes use - Paragliding
The Library on top of its normal duties of supplying still images to publishers, is becoming more involved in co-ordinating flying scenes for TV and film.

Two headline programmes have recently been shot with the BBC.

MacIntyre "The Weather" A 4 programme series depicting hot, wet, dry and cold.

In the wet programme, the presenter, Donal MacIntyre was flown on a dual paraglider in Goa, to do voice to camera shots on the monsoon.

Steve Leonard "Wild Animals" has just been completed - we co-ordinated the flying on dual paragliders of Steve and a cameraman, shooting air to air whilst flying with Himalayan Griffon Vultures over the Dalai Lamas palace.

Other major projects are in discussion with the BBC and Channel 4.

Paragliding is a sport which has grown enormously in the last few years, however, no advertsing agency has yet to use it as a "lifestyle" to promote a major brand. Food for thought for Ad agencies looking for something new.
