A Very British Gangster – a feature length documentary by Donal  has picked up a raft of awards. This was Donal’s first foray as a director but his debut has won at the Gijon Film festival in Spain and picked up two awards at the Cognac Film Festival in France – after its celebrated debut at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah in the U.S. Donal’s followed up this directing debut with a series of awards winning anti-smoking commercials which took acolades at the Creative Circle awards, the British Advertising Awards and the Cannes International Advertising festival.
